HCNZ: SHARING ON BEHALF OF LEE GOLDMAN KIKEL…
An opportunity for survivors, 2Gs, 3Gs, 4Gs, resistance members, and educators: join a group of global voices and share your family’s stories of loss, survival, and hope.
Lee Goldman Kikel is a Pittsburgh, USA-based author, who previously co-wrote a family memoir with her father, survivor Melvin Goldman (z”l). Her book, Perseverance: One Holocaust Survivor’s Journey From Poland to America, was completed in 2019 and later adapted for the stage, as Perseverance. More recently, this extraordinary journey is continuing in the form of a short film.
She is now preparing to write a second book, an anthology of stories written by Holocaust survivors, their children and descendants, liberators, and educators. This diverse array of contributors will inspire readers in new ways and tell a broad range of stories of resilient hopeful people in the face of a continent at war.
Just as her father did, you and your families have endured so much. While each family’s story is unique, they are all interwoven, and it is important that these narratives are shared and preserved.
If you would like to be a part of this unique project, please contact Lee Goldman Kikel at the contact information provided below. In addition to submitting testimony and family stories, contributors are welcome to incorporate meaningful family photos from before the war and today.
Your involvement would be invaluable, and this endeavor will be profoundly meaningful. Please consider participating in this important journey.
Thank you,
Lee Goldman Kikel
