A fantastic achievement for Ilan Wittenberg at the 2021 North Shore National Salon of Photography with a win of two gold medals, one silver and one bronze!

The winning photos were selected from 2,000 images, with only one medal per category.

Wittenberg said it was a great honour.

Established in 1995 by the North Shore Photographic Society (NSPS), the salon aims to promote the art of photography in New Zealand through a prestigious, national photographic competition.

Affiliated with the Photographic Society of New Zealand, each year the NSPS runs the salon with entrants from 31 photographic clubs and societies from Whangarei to Southland and from overseas.

The Salon convenes independent panels of selectors to judge entries in eight categories. All 400 accepted photographs are reproduced in an distinguished catalogue.
