The hostages were all abducted form the Nova music festival. Despite evidence of rape and mutilation of others at the festival, and sexual assault of captives, these atrocities have received little scrutiny from human rights groups and international organizations.
Many leading figures in politics, academia, and media have attempted to minimise or even deny that they occurred.
Screams Before Silence is a 60-minute, presenter-led documentary film with interviews of multiple eyewitnesses, released hostages, first responders, medical and forensic experts, and survivors of the Hamas massacres.
The Israel Institute of NZ and partners would like to invite you to a screening of the film on International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict (June 19th, 6pm).
We invite you to a screening of the film at which we will also hear from Moran Stella Yanai, who was captured at the festival and released at the end of November.
To register for the online event, go to https://bit.ly/ScreamsBeforeSilenceNZ.

PS: IINZ is also raising funds for Moran (the speaker at the event on the 19th). If you’d like to donate, please go to https://donorbox.org/donate-to-moran-stella-yanai.
