Wellington’s Temple Sinai has received a $1,750 grant from the Raye Freedman Trust to support their youth education programme.
Youth education encompasses the Beit Midrash programme that encourages participation by the children and their parents.
It also supports the Tot Shabbat services for families with toddlers and young children and the Garin post-Bnei Mitzvah youth programme.
“This is a very generous grant from the Raye Freedman Trust,” said Gregg Hesling. “However, Temple Sinai must also raise $1,750 ourselves.
“In honour of Hanukkah, please consider making a donation. You can make a bank transfer to the Temple account 03-0510-0026534-02 with the reference ‘Youth’”.
