Tourist and trade prospects with our new friends in the Gulf are on the verge of exciting and potentially mutually beneficial prospects which will not only enhance our economies but also create new found friendships. This is the paradigm for true peace and tolerance and should be an example for future positive developments as long as old failed mantras are abandoned.

Another exciting archaeological discovery has been revealed, this time on the Golan. Once again, it seems that the Biblical narratives are being validated this time from the era of King David: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsN-wM-AIZs
Last winter recorded record rainfalls and as a result Lake Kinneret filled to its highest level in many years. Over the long hot summer evaporation and usage depletes the lake and thus winter rains are always eagerly prayed for and anticipated.
Although Israel’s desalination of water has now alleviated a previous total dependency on water from the lake it is still important that water levels do not fall below red lines. If this was to happen salinity would rise and fish stocks would be imperiled as well as other marine life.
Therefore as the first of this year’s winter storms arrived and rain fell in copious quantities, Israelis rejoiced that their prayers had been answered. Let us hope for another bountiful winter.
DEFYING THE BOYCOTTERS
Tyrants and dictators of the past and present have discovered to their eventual cost that it is impossible to imprison people’s minds and freedom of thought forever.
Today one of the most vociferous proponents of BDS is Iran which regularly forbids its athletes and sportspeople from competing with and against Israelis. In fact not so long ago an Iranian wrestler was executed because he had openly defied the Mullahs of Tehran.
It is much more difficult to enforce cyber boycotts as this video demonstrates. May this herald the beginning of the end for those who preach and promote delegitimization against the Jewish State.
