The ZFNZ will hold its AGM on Sunday 25 July 2021. For details of the AGM’s location email firstname.lastname@example.org. It will also be held electronically via Zoom or Google Meets (information to follow), between 6pm and 7:30pm.
If you are interested in being part of the longest serving Zionist organisation in New Zealand, which has strong ties to both the World Zionist Organisation and the Jewish Agency for Israel, now is the time to step up and offer your support to both Israel and the NZ Jewish community.
Voting is only open to members of the Zionist Federation of New Zealand, so if you want to have your say and input, it is important that you join or renew your membership by Wednesday 16 June.
In addition to voting in the new Executive, there will be voting on proposed changes to the constitution which will be sent to members two weeks before the AGM.
So, if you want to be part of the future direction of Zionism in New Zealand, you need to do one or more of the following:
1. Become a member or make sure your existing membership is up to date
2. Stand for election for the Executive committee
3. Submit any motions or changes to the constitution.
4. Come to the AGM on 25 July and join in the discussions and be part of the vote.
All proposed motions, changes to the constitution, and nominations to stand for the Executive need to be sent to Idit Forster (email@example.com) by 5pm on Friday 16 June 2021.
Thank you all once again for your support and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the AGM.
President, Zionist Federation of New Zealand
