And just like that, history was made with EL AL touching down in Melbourne for the first time just a little while ago. After an almost 18 hour flight, a number of Aussies have been repatriated in Melbourne and now over 200 Israelis will board the flight to return home to Israel
Kol Hakavod to El Al, Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israel in Australia, Australia in Israel and everyone else who played a huge role in making this happen.
Safe travels home.
And now we will just hold on to the hope that this will all be over soon and the skies will open and we can all take advantage of the direct flight to Israel!
