The Doc Edge Film Festival is now showing. Unfortunately, the Boycott Divestment Sanctions movement has attacked the film festival for receiving support from the Israeli government for the film Dead Sea Guardians.

The Indigenous Coalition for Israel has issued a MEDIA RELEASE expressing their support for Doc Edge and the film, which is a story about kaitiakitanga, the caretakership of a precious taonga.

A Palestinian, a Jordanian and an Israeli, join together in an attempt to swim the Dead Sea to raise awareness of the plight of the moana which is in danger of drying up. The film explores the process of working out differences kanohi ki te kanohi, in order to achieve kotahitanga (unity).

The Indigenous Coalition for Israel encourages you to show your support for the festival and for Israel by attending one of the sessions:
