This Commission has long been discredited due to the openly antisemitic statements of its members, which drew widespread international condemnation and ultimately led to their resignation.
The report released yesterday continues this trend, echoing Hamas propaganda and presenting false allegations that have already been thoroughly debunked.
An independent, in-depth academic study by the Begin-Sadat Centre for Strategic Studies (BESA) comprehensively refuted every claim of so-called “genocide” against Israel.
Despite this, the COI made no attempt to address or engage with these clear findings, instead relying entirely on Hamas falsehoods and narratives laundered through third parties.
In sharp contrast to these distortions, the reality is that Hamas committed atrocities on October 7th, 2023: murdering 1,200 people, raping women, burning families alive, and explicitly declaring its goal to kill every Jew. It is Hamas, not Israel, that has pursued genocidal violence.
Given the Commission’s record of bias and the resignation of all three of its members, Israel calls for its immediate abolition.
