OPINION: The chains of man will be broken by the miracles of God…
Today marks 644 days since the October 7 invasion of peaceful Israeli communities; the savage rape, torture and murder of over 1,200 innocent civilians, and the enslavement of over 250 babies, children, youth and elderly, including the bodies of some that were murdered that dark day.
Today marks 644 days that 50 precious souls have been held as human shields in the terror tunnels of Gaza where they survive in inhumane conditions and endure cruelty at the hands of radical Islamic terrorists and Gazan civilians. Yes, Gazan civilians! Let us not forget that approximately 85% of Gaza’s civilians voted the terrorist group, Hamas, into power. Hamas won their votes simply by declaring that, “We will kill Jews…” This deadly slogan bought the vote of the people of Gaza.
The hostages are held in dungeons; chained, starved, humiliated and tortured, whilst so many political and religious leaders act as silent bystanders, turning away from this atrocity in indifference or denial.
Today I intended to write of our central and local governments’ anti-Jew resolutions and mandates; I was to write of the satanic cultists who publicly chant for the genocide of the Jews and proudly wear their contemptible ‘tablecloths’ in our parliament; I was to write of the silence of all those politicians who refuse to actively resist or condemn this hateful public display which is a blatantly vile act of traitors who rebel against all that our democracy supposedly regards, respects, demands and defends.
There is not one person in our parliament who has sincerely supported Israel’s right to defend its people and seek to free the hostages – not one! Sure, they initially whispered platitudes but then shouted their misguided demands that Israel cease from defending itself and pursuing the release of the hostages. Our political and religious leaders may, in the court of morality, enter a plea of ‘extenuating circumstances’ though only on the basis of insanity or complete moral deficit. I should like to serve on that jury!
Today I intended to remind our political and many religious leaders that, it does not go well for those who stand against the Promised, Sovereign and Eternal Nation of Israel. I intended to remind those leaders that there will be a day of reckoning for their betrayal of Israel and our own Jewish population…But then I recalled the words, ‘pearls to swine’.
How quickly many chose to either forget or refused to acknowledge the atrocities of October 7 and, in doing so, dismissed the victims and denied their families the dignity of mourning and grieving with even a semblance of humane regard.
We must never forget the ‘Black Saturday Massacre‘ of October 7, 2023 – To do so, would be to forget those precious souls who paid in suffering and enslavement, and those who paid the ultimate price with their lives.
We have a responsibility to witness, record and remember that which others would seek to erase from history – as many did, so soon after the Nazi-led Holocaust.
We must declare to the world NEVER AGAIN. We must demand NEVER AGAIN, and we must ensure NEVER AGAIN!
May it be that the precious ones being held hostage are soon returned to the arms of their families and the Promised, Sovereign and Eternal Nation of Israel.
