Shalom friend,
Perhaps it is my cynicism that would have me believe; the ingrained and inbred evil of radical Islamists will see them remain as adversaries of Israel, never allies or trustworthy neighbours.
We were informed, yet again, that there has been a pending cease-fire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli Government – only to have Hamas attempt to re-draw the terms.
In the latest negotiations, Hamas has again re-opened issues that were previously settled and agreed upon. Hamas are demanding further concessions – so, what’s new?!
In my opinion, should there be an ‘agreement’ with these radical Islamic butchers, judging from history, it will only partially and temporarily satisfy their appetite for spilling Jewish blood.
To continually compromise and give concessions in the hope of a permanent and peaceful outcome when dealing with those who celebrate death more than life, is either naivete or desperation. Whilst Israel is certainly not naive, it is desperate – desperate to bring home the hostages.
Today marks 658 days that fifty precious souls have been held in the terror tunnels of Gaza, at the mercy of radical Islamic terror organizations and Gaza’s civilian accomplices.
These precious ones are not a number: they are mums and dads, grandmothers and grandfathers, sons and daughters. They are each part of a family that is fractured by their absence and haunted by their agony.
The determination of the hostages to survive being chained, starved, humiliated and tortured – this determination must be kept alive in our own hearts and souls: we must stand up, speak out, cry out for their freedom and demand justice.
We must hope and pray for these precious ones; the fallen and fighting heroes of the Israeli Defence Forces and all their families.
Join with those who courageously and steadfastly publicly declare their solidarity with the Promised, Sovereign and Eternal Nation of Israel.
