An Israeli film – Jonathan Agassi Saved My Life by director Tomer Heymann – is part of the line-up. Here’s details about the film below:
Jonathan Agassi Saved My Life
Israel, Germany| 2018 | 106mins | Hebrew, English | Dir. Tomer Heymann
Jonathan Agassi, one of the world’s most successful gay porn stars, built his fame and success on what is considered a global taboo, but in fact pleases millions. Director Tomer Heymann followed Agassi for eight years, allowing us to have an intimate look at the world of porn and escorting. It also takes us into an unconventional relationship between a mother and son who courageously redefine familiar family concepts. The road, while seemingly lined with gold and adulation, blurs the line between freedom and oppression, showing that Agassi’s power has become his greatest weakness.
