With over 13 years in public education, teaching secondary history and psychology, Kristopher Clancy joined the Holocaust Centre of New Zealand (HCNZ) in November 2019 as Education Director, moving to New Zealand from Houston, Texas. Since starting with HCNZ, Kristopher has applied his deep and extensive knowledge of Holocaust history to further develop and expand the educational programmes offered at the Centre, as well as expand the Centre’s online presence, to help students and teachers with Holocaust education. Kristopher works to create educational programmes that reach all of New Zealand’s students and teachers, and to achieve HCNZ’s strategic goals for Holocaust education in Aotearoa New Zealand.
