Finance Minister Nicola Willis has declined to meet with six members of the clergy who chained themselves to her Johnsonville office on Monday, and remained there overnight.
The group, who have been fasting, are calling on the Government to sanction Israel for its actions in Gaza.
They held communion at 10am on Tuesday and invited Willis to join them. She declined.
Reverend Mel Mckenzie said earlier on Tuesday that the group were in good spirits, but a little hungry from their fast.
“However this is nothing compared to what the people in Gaza are experiencing,” McKenzie said.
