Shalom Chaverim:

Notice Regarding the Elections of the NZ Delegate to the 38th World Zionist Congress

The World Zionist Congress convenes once every five years in Jerusalem, bringing together over 2,000 Zionist activists from around the world, and is the supreme ideological and policy-making body of the World Zionist Organization. It represents the entire political and religious spectrum of the Zionist movement and is the largest democratic exercise in the Jewish world today.

Elections for the New Zealand delegate will be undertaken electronically using a unique Survey Monkey Link to ensure the integrity of the elections. Access to the Survey Monkey results will be available only to the Chair of the Area Election Committee and the President of the ZFNZ. Information regarding candidates will be sent in a separate email prior to the elections opening.

The elections will take place on 21 June via an email which will be sent to ZFNZ members only, and voting will be open until 7.00pm on Sunday 5 July.

As per the rules of the World Zionist Congress, only members of the ZFNZ are eligible to vote. Should you wish to vote, please ensure your membership is up to date or has been submitted to Idit Forster at officemanager@zfnz.org.nz by 11.59pm on Monday 15 June.

For any questions please email officemanager@zfnz.org.nz and the email will be forwarded to me, Shirley-Anne Hodgson, Chair of the Area Election Committee.
