Here we go again, writes Michael Kuttner…
More political hot air and worthless promises for a few painful months followed by elections and then more excruciating bargaining.
On the other hand, we should rejoice that Israelis alone among all the countries in the region have the ability to pass judgment on their politicians at regular intervals. Unlike some other nations we also have a dazzling array of parties to choose from and do not have to wait four years to remove those who turn out to be duds.
Although derided by some this is real democracy in action.

Now, following in their footsteps but with the advantage of modern technology, some new Olim are developing fertile areas to produce crops which will enhance health and wellbeing.

A GIANT IN HIS GENERATION
You may have heard of Rav Kook but do you really know of his lasting legacy?
His bold leadership and refusal to be intimidated by critics of his outreach efforts should serve as an example for today’s spiritual leaders in Israel.
