Well, it looks as though our prayers have been answered because within the last few days the country has been inundated with stormy weather and plenty of precipitation.
As though we do not have enough challenges facing the country at the moment our local media have unearthed two stories from outer space.
The first concerns a huge asteroid “the size of sixteen humpback whales” scheduled to pass by earth on Friday. Although not predicted to impact us the implications if it was to do so dwarf any sort of problems we might confront.
The second revolves around someone who claims to be a “modern day Nostradamus.” Apparently he predicts that “aliens will take over all Governments in May this year.”
All that seems to be missing is a claim that the dastardly Zionist Jews are behind this but given time no doubt one of the usual conspiracy theorists will surface.
