A fascinating piece of news caught my attention this week.
According to a recent survey conducted in the midst of the Gaza war Israeli matchmaking is skyrocketing. As deadly missiles keep being fired at Israeli communities it is heartwarming to discover that rockets of love are making a positive impact on Israeli civilians.
If anyone is still wondering how this is possible the comments of those involved will help to clarify any confusion.
“We celebrate life, joy and simcha, weddings and Bar/Bat Mitvot and making more Jewish babies.”
“The best way to respond to darkness and death is to bring more light and more love and joy. Traditionally that is the Jewish response to catastrophe.”
