For everything there is a season.
Purim is looming and Pesach is therefore not far behind. The trees are blossoming and the first buds of spring are appearing. Fancy dress costumes are already on the shop shelves and every year there seem to be a larger variety to choose from.
The campaign to save the hostages and destroy the terrorists is still underway. It could potentially put a damper on celebrations this year. One hopes that just as our ancestors in ancient Persia defeated those who aimed to destroy them so will the modern day persecutors of the Jewish People be vanquished.
SOLIDARITY IS THE GOAL
During these trying days when genuine friends are hard to find and critics are thick on the ground it is gratifying to hear from unexpected supporters.

RESILIENCE IN THE FACE OF ADVERSITY
The ability to surmount tragedies and grow stronger is one of the most obvious attributes of the Jewish People.

AN AMERICAN FRIEND
The former US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, visited Israel in a show of solidarity and joined IDF soldiers in a dance of support.
It certainly had many people “blinken” in amazement.
