With vilification of Israel in the media a daily occurrence, it is important to learn about the truths not being published.
For example, did you know that a Muslim Bedouin woman has been appointed as deputy head of one of Israel’s major responders’ branches?
Doa Al Aubra, a 30-year-old primary school teacher from Rahat, became the first Muslim woman to be appointed deputy head of a United Hatzalah branch. Despite initial skepticism in the Bedouin community toward “a hijab-wearing woman serving as a first responder,” Aubra’s presence “helped bridge cultural gaps in emergency medical care.”
The head of UH’s Rahat branch, praised Aubra’s appointment.
