As many of you will know, the New Zealand government voted FOR the resolution.
A statement was delivered by New Zealand’s ‘Permanent Representative’ in explanation of supporting this anti-Semitic piece of literary diarrhea, laced with a litany of lies.
Below, I quote from that statement (in defence of the New Zealand government acting, yet again, against the Sovereign and Democratic Nation of Israel).
Quote (1) “…because we support a two-state solution and because we support international law.”
Quote (2) “The Israeli/Palestinian conflict has gone on for too long…the effects are felt as far away as New Zealand.”
Quote (3) “…we expect Israel to take meaningful steps towards compliance with international law, particularly through withdrawal from the occupied Palestinian Territory…”
Quote (4) “The ICJ’s Advisory Opinion aligns with New Zealand’s long-standing view that Israel’s conduct in the occupied Palestinian Territory is unlawful.”
Much can be said about this action by the New Zealand government – and none of it good!
Not since December 2016 when the National Party co-sponsored the U.N. resolution 2334 against Israel and then the present coalition government re-commenced the funding of terrorists, via financing UNRWA, have I felt such outrage and disgust!
Yet again, our government ministers joined with other political despots to make false claims and take unwarranted action against Israel.
HAVE THEY FORGOTTEN or DO THEY SIMPLY NOT GIVE A DAMN:
October 7, 2023, Islamic terrorists invaded Israel and massacred over 1,200 innocent people; took hostage 254 people – including babies, children, elderly, disabled and the bodies of some that they had massacred that day. They mutilated, mass-raped and burned alive entire families.
Israel’s humane response, and the only one that could be taken by a morally correct nation, was to enter its enemy’s land in order to free the hostages and safeguard its people.
WHAT PART OF THAT MAKES ISRAEL THE GUILTY PARTY?!
WHO ARE THE PERPETRATORS? WHO ARE THE VICTIMS?
Perhaps our political despots would like to change places with the remaining 101 hostages and ‘negotiate a two-state solution and settlement’, eyeball-to-eyeball with the terrorists…anyone? Christpher Luxon? Winston Peters?
We stand in solidarity with Israel; the hostages and their families; the IDF and their families and the families of the slaughtered innocents.
We call for the release of the hostages from Hamas and the Islamic fundamentalist terrorists.
We call for the New Zealand government to stop pandering to these rapists and murderers!
We call for the New Zealand government to stop rewarding and endorsing the inhumane acts of terrorism perpetuated by their ‘Palestinian Pals’.
Sunday, we shall again gather in solidarity with Israel and speak further of New Zealand’s response, via the government, to ‘Black Saturday’, October 7, 2023.
