Annabel Noar is doing PhD research that looks at what Hebrew the New Zealand Jewish communities are holding dear for the sake of their Judaism, how they’re transmitting it to their children and what challenges they’re facing.
For her research, she needs to hear people’s stories. Previously, she has reached out to people to ask them to fill in a survey with their insights to help out her research: https://1.org.nz/hebrew-in-new-zealand-survey-request
And, in response, over 100 people completed her survey, for which she says she is so thankful.
But she says she really wants to make sure everyone who wants to be included has the chance to share their story, so she is doing one final push to boost participation.
The link to the survey is below, along with a little visual in case it’s of interest for aesthetic purposes!
The survey can be completed by anyone who identifies with Judaism and lives in New Zealand, regardless of their Hebrew proficiency.
She says: “My sincere gratitude again for your support, I hope to be able to share some of the fascinating and important results soon.”
